In early September we visited Defence & Security Equipment International (DSEI) in London. DSEI is a world leading event aimed at connecting industry professionals, defence and security supply chains, governments and armed forces giving them a rare opportunity to network and creating an environment ideal for business negotiations, innovation and demonstrations of modern technology and advancements in product design. It was an ideal opportunity for us to research and network with other soft armour and textile product designers and suppliers, filling us with lots of inspiration for forth coming and current projects

Last week we were at the NEC in Birmingham, visiting the Emergency Services Show, again on a mission to research and inspire our design work for forthcoming projects. The creative hubb team are keen to keep up to date with technological advances in textile product design but we also have a strong interest in the equipment used in our own industry, whilst at the NEC we visited the Print Show, gauging an understanding of the new large scale printing equipment available and how Creative hubb may be able to utilise them going forward.

September has been an eventful month with lots of interesting contacts made, we are celebrating 1 year in our new premises on 1st October and have a very busy schedule for the next few weeks, if the sun continues to shine throughout October we will be three very happy ladies with very few complaints.
